Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Assyrian NextGen LLC collects through assyriannextgen.com, why we collect it, who else can see it, and how to ask us to delete it. If anything here is unclear, write to ninous@assyriannextgen.com and we will answer plainly.

Who we are

Assyrian NextGen LLC, Niles, Illinois, United States. We publish the Blast Off! children’s book series and run hands-on STEM workshops for children. The person responsible for this site and for data questions is Ninous Badeen, reachable at ninous@assyriannextgen.com.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you type into a form. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.

Contact form

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The message you write

Workshop interest form

  • The parent or guardian’s name
  • An email address
  • A phone number, if you choose to give one — it is optional
  • The child’s age
  • Which days suit you better

We deliberately do not ask for the child’s name on this form. If a place is confirmed, we collect what we need directly from you at that point.

With every form submission

  • The IP address the submission came from
  • The date and time it was submitted

We keep those two because they help us investigate spam and abuse. They are not used to profile you.

Email updates

If you sign up for updates, we store the email address you give us so we can tell you when a book or a workshop cohort is ready. Nothing else. You can unsubscribe from any message we send, and that removes you immediately.

Children

This site is written for parents, guardians, teachers and librarians — not for children, and we do not ask children to submit anything. The only information we hold about a child is an age, given to us by an adult, so that we can tell you whether a workshop is a sensible fit. If you believe a child has sent us information directly, email us and we will delete it.

Who else can see it

Running a website means other companies handle some of this on our behalf. Each of these has its own privacy policy.

  • Hostinger — hosts the website and its database, so form submissions are stored on their servers.
  • Titan — carries our email, so anything you send us arrives in a Titan mailbox.
  • Cloudflare — provides the Turnstile check that stops bots submitting our forms. Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser to decide whether you are human.
  • Google Fonts — the site loads two typefaces from Google’s servers, which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads.
  • MailerLite — runs the email updates list. The signup form on our home page loads a script from MailerLite, so MailerLite sees your IP address whenever that page loads, whether or not you sign up. If you do sign up, your email address is stored with MailerLite and you can unsubscribe from any email we send.

Links to Amazon on our Books page are ordinary links. We are not in Amazon’s affiliate programme and we receive nothing for a click. Once you land on Amazon, their policies apply, not ours.

How long we keep it

  • Contact messages: up to 12 months after we have finished replying.
  • Workshop interest submissions: up to 12 months, or until the cohort you asked about has run and you have told us you no longer want to hear from us.
  • Email list: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site may set a small number of strictly functional items in your browser — for page caching and for remembering a light or dark preference. Cloudflare Turnstile may also set a short-lived item while it checks that you are not a bot.

Your choices

Write to ninous@assyriannextgen.com and ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will do it, and we will not ask you to justify the request. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we apply the same approach to everyone regardless.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, administrator access requires two-factor authentication, and form submissions are stored in the site database, with a notification sent to us over an authenticated, encrypted mail connection. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. If you find a security problem with this site, please tell us at the address above.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be mentioned in the next email update we send.
